I know there is a lot of threads on here about clomid but I'm wondering if anybody has any stories to tell similar to my situation or any advise...
Basically myself and DH have been ttc for 3.5 years, I was told I have PCOS and given 3 months of clomid 50mg days 2-6. I had the shortest cycle of my life that month, 30 days! (normally around 50) I took all my tablets and used opks everyday which all showed negative. I was convinced I hadn't ovulated and when I got all my usual pms symptoms I was even more sure I wasn't pregnant but sure enough when AF didn't arrived I tested and got my bfp. Sadly I miscarried at 7 weeks over Christmas 2012.
Since then I have started 1000mg metformin and had 2 periods, I've taken clomid each time but my first cycle was 55 days and second is now at 70 something days, I've been to see my gp who is sending a letter to my FS so they will see me again and discuss options but in the mean time has given me 100mg clomid days 2-6.
The thing I can understand is how it could work first time and then stop, I don't know if 100mg is now needed or if this is unlikely to work as well? Anybody had any experience of this?
