Clomid!

So, I just started Clomid about four days ago on days 3-7 of my cycle.

I was wondering if there were any success stories on the first round of Clomid. I am really hoping for a first round success story. I have PCOS, but everything else with me and my hubby are fine. We got my tubes checked out and his guys are hearty swimmers and are in great numbers.

I want to try everything possible. I was wondering if I should buy some pre-seed for the welfare of my Hubby's little guys. What do you guys think?

I have pre-natal vitamins. Should I start taking those again too?

I would love any suggestions possible! Thanks!

I got a bfp on cycle 2 of clomid.

I wouldnt bother with the pre seed unless you are really dry as it will kill a proportion of the swimmers.

I took robitussin cough medicine to think my cm and it did the trick! Good luck. XXXX

Hi, I am too like you? I am on my first round this month 100mg cd2 to cd6. and hoping for a first round clomid success story.

I do use concieve plus which is the same as pre seed as i hardly have any CM. and that is better than anything,

I also take a folic acid everyday as they advise you to take it whilst trying!

So how do you feel have you had any side effects ect????

The witch is due for me next thursday and i am really hoping that it doen't come this month as i would love my BFP before christmas.

I got my first pos OPK on saturday and was still getting a faint line last night but haven't tested today as i don't have any left lol, i have ordered some more though of the net and have also ordered myself a BBT themometer so if i don't concive this month i will temp as well.

I don't know when AF is due for me since I have very irregular periods. Hopefully I won't get it at all, and I will also get a BFP in return.

Dr said that I need to get an Ovulation Kit. Some are really expensive. Does anyone have suggestions on that? I have to start testing at 6AM every day until I get a positive. I have no idea what an ovulation test is suppose to do. So, I don't even know what a positive would tell me. Am I ovulating THAT day or am I about to ovulate??!

Well, I will skip the pre-seed cause I haven't really had any CM problems right now, and this is the 4 day of Clomid.

Hi i wouldn't test that early if i was you! you get a better result in the afternoon after 2 they advise but its up to you.

I get my OPK's off ebay for about £4 for 10 they do work lol.

are you going for your day 21 bloods or anything and how many mg of clomid are you on??? xxxxx

I guess i'm going to get a ultrasound when the OPK says positive. To see what state my eggs are in. Whether they are ready to release or whatnot.

I don't know why the dr's told me 6:45AM but they did. I don't want to go against their wishes but what I can do is take two on two different times and see what the results are.

I am on 50MG of clomid. First time trying with clomid, in the first month.

The dr says that if we can get my ovulation to be regular then hopefully pregnancy will occur. So I have a good feeling, I just don't want to get my hopes up.

Hi Ladies!
Im on my first round of Clomid too! Day 3-7 50mg. I have the feeling I didnt work for me this cycle though.. I had a + OPK last Friday what was D16... so I guess I have to wait now!
I also chart, and the +OPK doesnt seem to be on the right day with my temperatures..
Yesterday I had an ultrasounds, and she said it looked like I didnt ovulate ?!

My temperature did rise though and I had a +OPK, Maybe i had all the signs but just didnt release an egg or something? Is that possible?
I really hope they just have it wrong, and i will get a BFP haha

Today I have my first appiontment with the FS, so hopefully they will come with a good treathment plan for me

Since coming off the pill 18 months ago my periods have been very irregular- every 3 months or so. Finally after 8 months of trying I got pregnant in April. At my first scan I was told I had had a silent miscarriage. I had to have a D and C and so I was completely devestated. This was our first baby and I will be 37 next year.

I had a period 5 weeks after the D and C then nothing for 12 weeks. I lost count of how many hopeful pregnancy tests I did in those 12 weeks but it was a fair few.

I went to the doctor a month ago and have been put on 50 mg of Clomid. I think it has at least made me ovulate as I did ovulation predictor kits and after almost giving up hope they showed positive from what would be day 19 to 24 if I had a 28 day cycle. The kits showed positive for 6 days in total. I have used them before and had strange results where they are positive for this amount of time. My hormone levels have been checked and are fine.

I had quite a lot of abdominal discomfort in the week where I should have ovulated, so am hoping I did- my bbt also elevated at this point to. I am now hoping that it has worked but don't want to hold out too much hope. I am due tecnically tomorrow but if I am irregular and a pregnancy test is negative have been told to start my second clomid cycle so as not to waste too much more time ttc. I have 3 cycles of it in total so am keeping everything crossed that it works for us

Hey Chelle7, did the doctors check you for PCOS?
If you have that then sometimes you have false + on OPK's I thought.

I have been having wierd results aswell, i read a post the other day like this and it turned out she was pregnant, I have had pos opk's the last 3 days so i am keeping my fx!

OPKs are taken in the afternoon and not first morning urine. You are likely to miss if thats when you test. XX
