My Dr prescribed me baby aspirin, once a day in the morning, to help thin out my clots since I seem to be having too many. She also prescribed me Clomiphene, generic for Clomid, since hubby and I have been ttc nearly 3 years with only 1 pregnancy ending in a miscarriage at 4-5 weeks.
To catch you all up, I had 1st miscarriage in 2008, 1st (& only) son was born in 2010 and 2nd miscarriage in Feb 2015. Cramping in ovaries sent me to Dr where I found out, after doing multiple tests, I have: a clotting disorder, MTHFR, multiple cysts on ovaries, fibroid tumor on outside of cervix, high prolactin levels and low blood sugar, among other things.
ANYWAY lol... I have read that taking Clomid having a fibroid is basically a 'feeder breeder' of estrogen to the fibroid, making it increase in size. My Dr thinks it is okay to proceed with, however she only guessed where the fibroid was.
If it is really on the outer layer of my cervix and the Clomid does make it grow, is the size of the fibroid going to affect my chances of getting pregnant? What if the fibroid is on the inner part of my cervix? What if the Clomid makes it grow there? What are my risk factors then?
I know I should ask my Dr all these questions lol but it's 9:30pm and her office is probably closed lol..
Thanks in advice ladies! Any help would be appreciated![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
