Hey all, baby number 2 is due worryingly soon and I can't remember how I used to wash cloth nappies so can you tell me how you do yours?? Mine are mostly synthetic with a few bamboo boosters. I want cycles, spin speeds, temperatures and powder type/volume.

I *think* this is how I did it...

1. Cold hand wash cycle with no powder.
2. 40* synthetic cycle with a small cup of fairy non bio. 900 spin speed with extra rinse.
3. Another rinse cycle with extra rinse and 900 spin.

Does that sound about right?!?

I did:-

1. Quick wash with temperature & spin off
2. 40c (60 every now & again) wash that lasted 2 hours + extra rinse. Spin 1400rpm
3. Extra rinse + spin 1400rpm

I used Aldi's washing gel and used about a 3rd-1/2 dose depending on how many nappies there were.

Great. Thank you. I think I could risk a harsher spin!! Otherwise similar to mine I think.
