Clueless about nappies - help!

I would love to use cloth nappies when baby is born - starting from as early as possible really.
However, I feel totally cluless about them!
I've been browsing through the threads and shops and feel no better off it's like a foreign language! I need a simple, idiots guide!

What will I need to get started??

Are there Cloth nappies information sessions in your area? That's one of the best way to start. I agree it can be confusing at first!

I agree with the workshop/info session... before I went to a cloth diaper workshop here I was totally overwhelmed and now I can't wait to start my little guy off. Try checking local cloth diaper places, retail and online, to see if they offer a info session.
