After having lots of creamy CM for the first week after ovulation, I'm now 8 DPO and my CM is drying up. The tiny bit of cm I do get is not really the sticky white cm I get prior to AF but more of a watery consistency. I've heard it could go both ways, that dry cm could either mean that AF is on her way or that the cm is being used to form the mucus plug, which can happen as early as implantation.
*TMI alert ahead but also while doing a cervical check I noticed that my cervix is still high, almost to where I can't reach it, and the opening is tucked against my vagina wall. I'm due AF in 4 days (I had a late ovulation although my periods are always regular no matter when I ovulate) and is usually lowering/centering by now. I know it varies from person to person but does this sound like a positive sign?
