What coat do you all have or what have you seen that you love?

I've looked at over 4000 coats/jackets online tonight in New Look, Matalan, Next, Dorothy Perkin, La redoute, debenhams, Tesco, Asda, Littlewoods, H&M, Debenhams, Miss selfridges, Asos and more that I am forgetting, and I don't love any

I want one that has shape to it, as in a bit fitted. Help me please x

I have a woollen coat from Whistles. Got it in the sale about four years ago and it's still stylish and gorgeous as ever. All of their coats are so flattering, though it's worth waiting for a sale or checking Ebay as they're so expensive!

I bought a coat about 3 years ago from Debenhams in the sale (£20 from £70). I love it...but it ripped on Friday at the shoulder I was chasing Jacob and caught him, picked him up at an awkward angle and riiiiippppp. I'm gutted...now I need to hunt for a new coat.

It's similar to this, same 'body' but the arms on mine aren't that material (mines same as the rest of the coat).

For me, I think you can't go wrong with a nice fitted mac style coat. I got a Lipsy one a couple of years back and it's the most flàttering one I have had.

This is my coat. It looks nicer in real life more texture to it! The inside hood is like fleecy lambs wool. It looks really autumny and is warm!

I was going to get the one Lola posted but they didn't have any in stock when I last went to asda so I've stuck with my one from last year! The vital thing for me is a hood so if I'm out with Ben and have shopping etc I don't need a hand for an umbrella.

I think it's important to try them on. Maybe go somewhere with a large selection and see what style looks best.

Lola, yes and that was just last night I've been looking online for weeks Your coat is lovely and similar to what I've had before, that and parkas.

Boomers, I tried loads on yesterday during the day but just didn't have much luck


The problem for me is time last year I was a size eighteen and I am now a size twelve, but my head thinks I am still a size eighteen and so I cant decide what suits me but I know I don't want to be drowned under a coat that isn't fitted as I worked hard to have a figure I like. Admittedly it is a nice problem to have

That's lovely Tasha. I was looking at some earlier and couldn't find anything as fitted as that. The belt is a great way to do that. I hope you love it when it arrives (did you get it online?)
