Cold sore grrrrrr.....

So woke up with a massive cold sore this morning. My lip is all swollen and I resemble a duck haha! I'll have to remember not to let LO touch my face just incase, definitely don't want him getting them.
Anyone else suffer with them and have good tips for avoiding them or getting rid of them fast?

I'd not had one for years, but in the day I went into labour, I came out in one which was awful as I couldn't kiss my LO for the first few weeks if her life.
Since her arrival, I've had about 3 coldsores. I use a cold sore lotion from bottles which is really cheap but I've found to be the best. It dries them out really quick.
