Collostrum / milk coming in

I didn't get to BF last time as dd was a little pickle , REALLY hoping that it will be different this time

it took 3 ish days last time for my milk to come in from memory - just wondering if the colostrum lasts until it comes in ??

Yep, the colostrum gives baby enough nutrition until your milk comes in. It usually takes 2 or 3 days I believe. Mine came in on day 3. Lots of baby suckling in those days, but it's what helps the milk come in.
