Can you ladies share with me any unusual discharge you have with being pregnant? Since I've been pregnant, I've noticed my discharge has been on and off yellowish. I went on Monday to get checked, and it was a yeast infection (unlike any i've had before, no other symptoms, no of the thick discharge) and I started treatment, and purchased some panty liners...but I just checked and its so watery, and yellowy/tan, and it just doesn't seem normal to me. I keep searching online, I know a lot of discharge is normal, but has anyone had this? I'd really appreciate knowing that I'm not alone and have nothing to worry about!:nope:

I have the same, yellowish discharge and as far as i know it's normal due to hormones

I've heard it is totally normal. I have been spotting so it is hard to tell what color my discharge actually is because there is blood in it, but i had read that yellow/golden is normal in pregnancy. Do you think you really had a yeast infection? Did they send it out for a culture? I hate it when doctors only check it in the office because it is normal to have some yeast. They have done that to me before and given me medicine, and then when the culture comes back it says I didn't have an infection. Hope it clears up for you, but if not it is probably just because it is normal pregnancy discharge!

Defo I get really yellow discharge with what looks like bits in it! Also when on bright White toilet paper can sometimes almost look green urgh! All down to the hormones midwife told me

ive noticed the toilet paper thing - its looks off white/light yellow but actually looks green on toilet paper - yukkkkk ive got it too seems to be common according to b&b

They did do a culture, I definately had it, even though I have no symptoms. I'm worried, it seems so dark now, like a tan/light brown. I dont have any cramps. Earlier I had so much, like a gush, tonight just a few spots...I'm a nervous wreck!

Ive been experiencing this as well!

whenever i wipe, its almost like fluroscent-ish yellow because of the white paper,

Its weird, and it freaks me out too!!!

It could be also because of your yeast infection as well, and all the hormones!!

Call your Dr if extremely worried! :) good luck!

Well I havent been wearing panty liners, I just saw yellow on my panties - i thought it may just be because I was peeing so much:blush: but then I used pantie liners for the meds, but I'm not sure I like waht I see. I'm so over scared about it....

And your still using something for your yeast infection?

Are you using cream, a pill?

Cause that will definetly throw off the consistency of your ( regular ) discharge, i mean regular.. what is regular lol, especially while expecting. But if you are still taking something that may lead to what is happening.

I get freaked out about weird discharge ill get, and the first thing i do, Is run to the computer and check it out lol.. Its a horrible habit.

Im only 5-6 weeks, and i literally have vaginal pain lol.. i had someone reply to my post and saying maybe it was round ligament pain, yet ive never had it.

And every pregnancy is different. Is their a nurse call line you can contact?

I know here in canada, we have a line thats 24/7 and free. try to find something so you can get a little relief:) Dont want to stress out to too much!

Also if u do have a little infection then your cervix will be infected which may have produced a tiny amount of blood which is coming out with your discharge giving it the brown colour I would try not to worry all sounds normal to me

I have noticed a yellow discharge as well. I actually went to the bathroom because I felt wet and I worried I was bleeding but no blood. I have read that vaginal discharge is suppose to be normal. Its even in those online "Are you pregnant" quizes. They ask are you having more vaginal discharge. Or something of that nature. I think its when there is blood there is cause for concern. Evn then its sometimes normal for some. It wasnt for me. So long as I wipe and dont see blood, I am going to pay it no mind. You should do the same. If you are not in pain and are not bleeding, Dont worry yourself about it.

I have this too, so it's sounding like it's normal! I thought pregnancy would mean no sanitary products for 9 months but NO! Stuck using panty liners every day instead :haha: Wouldn't change anything for the world though!

5 wks and been having more of a beige-ish discharge..it happens on and off so it's been driving me mad but no pain other than a small poking one here and there & feel awesome otherwise.I've 1 previous miscarriage but i definitely feel much better this time! :happydance: I think I've single handedly managed to disrupt the entire OB office lol They're returning the favor with blood tests and pee cups :dohh: Any who, i'm a worry wart but it seems to be quite normal! yay for all of us ladies and the best of luck to you & you LO!!

This thread put my mind at ease. I was beginning to think the yellow tinted discharge I've been experiencing was not normal but it seems very common. today I have nothing. Some days it's white-clear and milky, other days it's more white-yellow to yellow and sometimes thicker. No other symptoms so I guess all is well. :)

I"m in the yellow discharge camp and there is a lot of it. On tissue it is watery and clear but with a yellow tint, some days more than others and after a few hours with a liner the liner is all yellow and it is getting heavier as I go. No other "off" things just some mild twinges. I think it is normal but it is also easier to get infections I think because our immune systems are a bit off.

I've had it aswel. Was starting to worry before I read this thread. Mine is also yellow and on toilet paper looks sort of green. Oh the joys lol

Xx

Mine has been yellow and I've read it's completely normal and is a good sign it means you body is forming they as plug that will protect your baby from infections throughout your pregnancy xx
