coloring your hair?

This may be a really dumb question but I've found conflicting answers. Is it sage to get my hair colored while breastfeeding?

I was told it was safe in fact with DD#1 I actually nursed her under the cover they had me covered in while the dye was setting in my hair.

My friends a hairdresser and she says it's fine, you can also get dyes with less chemicals.

Oh, thanks. I haven't dyed my hair since sometime before i was pregnant and I would love something a bit different so that helps!
