Hi there,

I am overdue... My hospital provides complementary therapies and I'm booked for reflexology and aromatherapy this Friday. They also offer a membrane sweep. I am wondering is the latter really necessary? Not really keen on it and will probably refuse.
If it doesn't work then I'll be medicaly induced the following week, which I am not looking forward to.
What did work for you? Have you got any tips? I've heard rasperry leaf tea is good, and walking, bellydancing, bouncing on a ball. Can anyone share their "success stories" please. I am fed up and tired :-/

Hey darlin, with my five year old I was 40 weeks 5 days when my OBGYN suggested I try nipple stimulation. Are you dilated at all? Nipple stimulation put me into labor but I was also 3cms dilated already (and I contribute that to me taking and doing Evening Primrose Oil suppositories vaginally. I am 33 weeks now and carrying another large baby (my 5 year old graced me with a 4th degree episiotomy). So I have started my Evening Primrose oil again. Right now I'm doing one 1000mg gel capsule vaginally every night. I've also heard Borage Oil has the same effects as Evening Primrose Oil but it's more potent. Good luck hun!

Thanks Amanda :flower:
The reflexology and massage are working, I've been having period pain since yesterday. It's on and off but getting slightly stronger... hope this is it!
Otherwise will go and get the epo tomorrow :) xx
