Confused about ovulation date

I am kind of new to charting and this month I am confused about which day I actually ovulated. FF puts me at ovulating last Monday, but I thought since I had a temp drop after that on Wed. That I ovulated then. So now I dont know how many dpo I am. I use a bbt thermometer at the same time every morning and my LP is typically 13 days. I just had a hysteroscopy, laproscopy and chromotubation last month.

I would think it was more likely you O Wednesday with that temp drop and EWCM.

I am also new to charting. I was looking at some charts on the FF community. Sometimes you can just have a random temp that spikes for no reason, looks like the tuesday before you ovulated could have been an outlier temp. Looks to me like you ovulated on Wedneday and are one of the people who have a slow temp climb. Since I am new to temping and charting (first cycle) and I may not be ovulating, I am also using OPK's this month as another source to let me know if I am ovulating. Good luck!

Hi Kitty: I used OPKs and got a positive on Monday, I do agree that I think it was Wednesday though! Thanks!

Well, FF isn't sure when you ov'd, since it's given you the dotted crosshairs.

There is a possibility that the dip on Wednesday is a 2DPO fallback rise, which is probably why it hasn't moved the crosshairs to Wednesday.

Looking at your chart, with the high temp on Tuesday, I'm inclined to stick with FF on this one. Monday is your most likely ovulation day with the temp rise on Tues and the fallback rise (due to estrogen) on Wednesday. If it wasn't "2DPO", I'd suspect differently, but there's a good chance FF is right. It's also possible after a few more temps it'll shift the crosshairs over, but I wouldn't count on it.

But in any case, I would expect AF to be due when you think it would come if you did ov on Monday and if it's late, expect it two days later...and if it's later than that, TEST.
