Confused by my temps!

I posted in my intro a little about my TTC history, so instead of repeating it you can go back and look at my first post.

Moving onto my question, this is my first cycle using Clomid. My doctor started me on a low dose (50mg). This is also my first cycle to get a positive OPK. However, I'm on CD 22 and still don't know if I ovulated or if I'm going to.

This cycle I am using Walgreens Daily Ovulation Predictor Test Strips and Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation tests. From CD 15-18 I got a flashing smiley face on my Clearblue, but the test line on my test strips were lighter than the control line (some days looked like they were possibly the same darkness). On CD 19 I got a solid smiley face and my test line on my test strip was noticeably darker than the control this time. CD 20, I could not retake the digital (48 hour wait), but again my cheapy test strip's test line was very dark. CD 21 and 22 I'm still getting dark lines, and my saliva is still ferning, but my Clearblue is now just a circle. I rely more on the cheapy tests though than the digital so it's not too much of a concern for me.

My biggest question is my temps. This is my first cycle temping [almost] every single day. I'm just going to post a picture of my chart instead of trying to explain my temps, but my confusion in all of this is, if my temp rose almost an entire degree in the last 24 hours, is that a sign of ovulation, even if the temp was my average at the beginning of my cycle? I'm so confused by temping!!! :dohh:

Also here is a picture of my OPKs. I don't have a pic with yesterday and today's because they're just as dark as CD 20.

Another note, if I have or will have ovulated this cycle, I am sure I will not conceive, as my mine and my DH schedules have been pretty opposite all week, so no time to BD... But I am using this cycle to really get an idea about ovulation.

When you use OPKs they give you a heads up of when you will ovulate by telling you that your LH is surging. So looking at your charts and kits it looks like you ovulated on CD 21-22 based on that rise in temp. Your OPKs showed CD 19 & 20 as + OPKs as they predict that you will ovulate in the next 12 - 48 hours. So that +OPK on CD 19/20 was predicting that rise (ovulation) on CD 22. I wouldn't count yourself out this month because you BD on CD 19 which would allow sperm (which can live 2-5 days!) to be hanging out waiting for that egg to appear! Best of luck to you! I hope this clears up a little bit of your confusion and doesn't add to it!

I transferred all my data over to Fertility Friend because I noticed it in everyone's signatures on here. I like it a whole lot better. Anyway, it also "predicted" that I ovulated on the 21st.

Like I posted in a few different threads, I had blood drawn Monday (CD 23) to check progesterone levels. My OB is supposed to be calling me back this week to tell me if I ovulated. Because I had so many days with + OPKs, I just wonder if maybe my body was trying to but couldn't and gave up. Guess I'll find out soon enough! If I did ovulate I bet anything it was CD 20 or 21 though because I also had a lot of discomfort in the pelvic area, and my digital OPK showed peak fertility on CD 19.

Best of luck to you! A lot of people do use FF and seem to like it. I've not tried it myself but I have tried Glow and it has a lot of good info too :)

Well my doctor called me today and the Clomid worked! I ovulated! So happy!
