confused! cant add pics now!

I just added some pics to my journal, all worked fine. Ive tried to add some more and i got this message

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Help please?

Hi ladies

We have tested this and there seems to be no problem. Could you clear your cache and try again and if you receive an error could you please take a screen shot and provide a link to the thread your trying to add the picture to or the forum section your trying to add a new thread to containing the picture. I assume you mean an attachment via the forum and not an image hosted elsewhere?

I cleared my cache and it now seems to only let me add some pictures!

I took a screen shot but I cant find it..

Could it be because the pic is too big? It takes a really long time to upload then I get the message about the security token.


Its not an image hosted elsewhere. The link to my journal is in my siggy.

That explains it. It's not related to the update. The maximum file size allowed per image is 512.0 KB. If multiple images are uploaded in a post the total for all can't exceed 2MB. For images that are too large you either have to use an image host or use a graphics editor to decrease the file size. Irfanview is a good free graphics editor for windows.

The confusion was caused because the error message was changed. It used to just say file size limit exceeded or something like that.

I read another thread about this and I did clear my cache, history, cookies, etc...and it still gives me the message. I am trying to post a pic in here:

I`m been trying to list some clothes for sale in the selling area and it wont let me upload pictures because it says I need a `SECURITY TOKEN` its never asked for this before so I`m a little confused

I`m getting the same message too I just posted a thread here myself about it before I saw this thread I`m trying to upload pictures in the `selling` forum and I`m doing nothing different to what I have done a zillion times in the past .... def an issue with bnb imo

Definitely think it's a BnB issue as after lots of tries it suddenly worked for my pic.

We need more information to investigate this. What is your OS (eg windows 7, Mac OS 10.6) and what is your browser and version (eg Firefox 10.0.1) and the url of the thread where you're trying to upload the attachment. It would be helpful if one of you would email the picture you're trying to attach to me so I can try to duplicate the error. You can send it to [email protected] . Sometimes these issues are caused by the image formatting and we have to compile something to handle it on the server. I can't determine if that's the case without the actual image. Thanks!

Edit: I tried clearing my cache, restarting pc, and tried to upload again. Same security token error.
