confused :S

hey i posted this in 1st tri to

im so confused, i had a normal period on july 18th-22nd, i had sex on the 28th of july, but my doctor says im 5-6 weeks, and just did a digi test which came up 3+ but do the dates add up? or do u think i got pregnant before my last period? xx

firstly CONGRATS!!!!!

i honestly have no idea, sorry hun

i think digi's mesure from the date of conception (usually about 2 weeks after your LMP) where as your doctor will be going from the dates of your LMP.

the only way to really find out how far along you are is at a scan. when i went for my 12 weeks scan i thought i was 13+1 going from my LMP but i was actually measuring at 11+2 meaning that i would have concieved 2 weeks later (which actually makes more sense for when FOB and i DTD

your doctor will count from 2 weeks before you actually conceived... don't worry it confused me loads at first too x
