Hubs and I finally got around to go to House of baby and try out the Stokke.
We both loved it, but I found folding the Stokke a bit of a pain. Did anyone feel that? The sale girl kept saying its because of my bump..I don;t think so. Did anyone find it difficult in the beginning and find it get easier? I honestly tried 10 times and it was getting difficult with standing in one foot and all that...Such a shame...Husband says that we will get used to it and not to take this into account???..

Also I tried iCandy Peach, It was nice too...but defintely not a Stokke. But it folded very very easily and the fact that it can be extended with a Peach Blossom feels very tempting for me...But husband says not to take this into account...

Need your opinion guys...What shd I go for Stokke or iCandy?

I also saw Silvercross..boy they were cheap. I had this feeling that they were supposed to be expensive..Their surf was in iCandy/Stokke range..but it had neither the height advantage of stokke nor the extension advantage of iCandy...so not in the running...

Didnt fancy Quinny much, because of its height...but its pneumatic unfold was awesome though!

So really need your opinion guys...What shd I go for Stokke or iCandy?

Sorry I didn't look at either, they were both way out of our price range!! Is the height thing a big deal? I'm tall and I've gone for the mamas and papas sola it has adjustable handles. Other than that I can't really help! Don't go for one that your not comfertable with, with mine It came naturally and I think that's sort of how it's supposed to be?x

Hi

I would go with the iCandy tbh.

I've just brought the pear Double it's fab can't wait to use it and can be used as a single or double

Also you can buy the apple as this can be coverted to a double too if needed and I believe the seats are a lil bigger.
Depends what u prefer.

Also iCandy give 2 yr warranty on their prams.

Hth

Happy pram buying :)

stokke im in love with this pushchair and can not wait to get it i played with it in the shop the other day my friend has the older one and said it gets less stiff to fold after you have done it a few times also i think once you have found your own technique it will be simple :)

I personally think the stokke is hideous so would go for a icandy out of the 2. I have a quinny that im reusing for this baby :) i really like it.

have you had a shot of a bugaboo bee or chameleon? i wannnnnnt the bee.

we got the stokke think it takes a bit of getting used to but i found that with a few i like that stokke can be adjusted height wise and can face either towards u or away also resale on stokke is great if ur buying new x

Stokke is lovely but has shit suspension and it crap for walking with and useless in the snow but other than that I love it lol!!
The bugaboo chameleon is a fab pram so light and lovely to push.

I think quinnys are fab, and for height the handle bars can be extended. In fact the quinny buzz and iCandy apple look very similar and have much of the same features, I think the iCandy apple has a better shopping basket but think the quinny looks nicer, ESP the carry cot. Both are about the same price range also. Think the peach is nice but don't think the carry cot is as pleasing on the eye as the quinny, also the chassis is a bit heavier on the icandys..

I don't know much bout the stokke

:)

I desperately wanted the stokke and DH was more keen on the peach. After testing both I found the peach easier to fold, smaller too and sturdier, the stokke xplory felt less stable. So we went with the peach and picked it up yesterday and I adore it, can't wait to put our lo in it'

We went for the iCandy peach and I'm so glad we did, it arrived a couple of weeks ago and it's even nicer than I remembered. Looks stunning, so easy to fold and is great quality. I went for the sweatpea colour range and love love love it :)

saying that tho we didn't look at the stokke so I am bias lol

We finally decided on stokke since we went back n tried it at my 36 weeks n allvworked awesomely...got their green one. It's awesome in our living room where we use the carry cot to put the baby to sleep during day...instead of the Moses basket...so functional, so tall n beautiful..hubs can't wait to show of his baby n stokke next sprng/summer...:)

I bought my pram from house of baby and we went for the peach on sweetpea. The stoke was nice and unusual but just didn't gave the same effect the peach does. The peach is so easy to put up and down and glides along easily. We were tempted by the quinny buzz but in comparison to the icandy was not as good. We also looked at the bugaboo bee and chameleon which were both very good too however we looked in John Lewis than while wandering round rest of store noticed everyone was pushing a bugaboo (Oxford street London) so that completely put me off.

I personally think the stokke is hideous so would go for a icandy out of the 2. I have a quinny that im reusing for this baby :) i really like it.

me too, I think it looks horrible.

yay glad you got the stokke i think its a bit of a marmite pram its either love at first sight or not we are going to wait untill we find out the sex purple for a girl and green for a boy :) i also love that if we have another bubby of the oposite sex we can just buy a new textiles kit and it will look brand new again :)

i loved the stokke but OH said it looked like a golf trolley :(

icandy prams are equally nice though..... hmmmmm tough choice they are both lovely

also would deffo recomend having a look at the bugaboo cameleon AMAZING!!

xx
