Confused..

Hi, Im a new member on this site. My husband and I are trying to conceive. 2 months ago I missed my period. The next month I got my period, but it was different and lighter then normal. This last month I started bleeding really heavily and having cramps I never felt before. I called my GYNO and spoke to the on call doctor who didnt seem to care much about what I was saying. I took a loratab that i was perscribed for the pain. I went to sleep about 11 that night and woke up at 4 in the morning cramping really badly. I went to the restroom and when I looked down into the toilet there was a white/clear blob in the bottom mixed with the gush of blood. Im young, and confused, and I HATE my GYNO because he doesnt listen to anything I say, so I need to know what that might have been. If it was what I was thinking it probably was.
