confused

so here is my story.
early this spring, i had a mmc that had to be managed with pills taken vaginally. found out at 11 weeks that i lost the pregnancy at 7 weeks, even after seeing the heartbeat twice. this was my first pregnancy ever.
just a couple months later, i became pregnant again. spotted during weeks 5-7, saw the heartbeat. no bleeding after week 7. fast forward to thursday (9w5d) had massive bleeding and HUGE clots pass at work for about an hour. assumed i had a mc cause it was just a crazy amount of blood and the clots were almost fist sized. called my dr and he agreed it was another mc. called my husband, parents, and in-laws and explained i had another mc. heartbroken. my dr had me go in friday (yesterday) for a sono to make sure i passed everything. well the tech told me i hadn't passed everything....because there was a baby in there measuring 9w6d!!! heartbeat 158. i had to call everyone in my family back and explain i am still pregnant. as it was a friday evening, i was not able to see my dr. so no physical exam means he doesn't know if its just a "friable cervix." if it is, does this make me more prone to later term mc? or mc at all? my dr didnt say much except if i feel pain and cramping or the bleeding gets heavy again to go to the ER this weekend. as of this morning, i have blood only when i wipe. its red. no pain or cramping. i am having the worst time feeling like i am still pregnant, i am in denial and scared.

So sorry that you had to go through that! Have you gotten any better explanation yet? I'm sorry I don't have any information to offer - just best wishes for everything turning out OK!

thanks for the reply! at my dr.'s appt i had a pelvic exam. he said my cervix was extremely irritated and still had old rust colored blood on it. he thought the blood either came from my cervix, or possibly implantation bleeding. he said since it's growing at a rapid rate, that may of caused some blood.
i have another follow up appt on the 18th, and i will also get a follow up sonogram. keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh and i want to share this story with you: when i was pregnant and lost my angel, there was another woman sharing the room in the hospital with me, she also came in with a massive bleed and cramping (it was that bad that she thought she was incontinent when it started!). she spent 4 days in the hospital and bled for 3 days intensely... but it turned out her baby was perfect, perfect heartbeat and measured on time... so you never ever know.
