Congrats! No more guessing!

I know how you felt, because my DD had us guessing too. She looked like a boy at first scan and then defininitely a classic girl nub shot at 13w! Confirmed through dna/20w scan haha!

They do like to keep us guessing tho lol I said to the man who do the scan I said are you sure it's not the umbilical lol he said no that's Deffo a willy I took my daughter she was desperate for a sister as I have 2 boys already and when he said boy she cried so then I cried as I kept thinking I let her down :'( but she will be coming shopping with me and choosing stuff xx

Yeah, that is hard for her, and I totally understand. My DH and I really wanted a brother for our DS, but he wanted a sister so bad! So in the end we were hoping for a girl since we didn't want him disappointed. He was adamant that it was a girl and this is our last one so we prayed !

Well he was right! I also think he wanted to be mommy's only "favorite fella" (boy) so a girl is no threat...

Hey tdog, 1st of congrats on DS

When I was pregnant with with my 3rd, DD1 really wanted a brother, since she alredy had a sister, DD2 wanted another sister, so I knew one of my girls would be disappointed... when I told DD1 it was another girl, she cried as well, it broke my heart and was so very hard to hold back tears ... now DD3 is 3.5 months old and DD1 tells me on a regular basis how happy she is that baby is a girl after all
Give it some time, once baby is born she'll come around and will love her little brother, I'm sure

Thank you hun she seems ok tbh I think it may have been the shock and with me aswell as I was so ill with this one like I was with me daughter but with my other 2 son's I was fine so weird tbh lol I just started crying with her as couldn't hold back xx

Ahhh don't worry hunny and let it ALL out. I was a little thrown off when I found out that I was having a girl, as I always seen myself with all boys and thought FOR SURE this was another boy, but I came around. I am a major tomboy, so I am still adjusting and I didn't have someone (DH or DS) sad about it though so that would have broke me down for a bit as well so I feel you hun
