confusion??

i realise ill prob jinx myself posting this but.... i have 27 day cycles. my last af was the 25th of may.

this being the 28th day???

Genarally have a leutal phase of 13 days

BUT, i ovd on the tuesday 8th?

so how does that work???

am i late?? tecnicaly?? or does it not count cos its 14dpo???

im not sure honey i just tried to work it out in my diary and i counted today as your 27th day counting the 1st day of af so today your 13dpo. is it right that you ovulated 14 days after af? im not great with maths!! x sylvia x

hi hunny, you are currently at CD 27 or dpo 14, definitely test if AF does not arrive tomorrow fxed!

today is 28 days honey so if you go by your cycles that are 27 days your 1 day late but i get confused very easily!! x sylvia x

actually, it doesn't matter when the last day of AF is, esp when so many people get irregular cycles. the only constant and never-changing factor is the cycle is the luteal phase or the no of days between ovulation and next AF. most women have got a 12-16 day luteal phase with 14 as an average.
So, if last AF is 25.05, you ovulated 08.06 and your luteal phase is 14 days, then you are at 13dpo today and with this cycle, you are actually having a 29 day cycle instead of a 27 day cycle and you ovulated CD 15 and you can (or not!!) expect next AF on Wednesday.
