My LO is almost 2 months old and lately all he wants to to is be feed!! Its really getting me down now as in the morning i dont get chance to eat and by lunch time im tired and grumpy. My routine with him is a few oz then he will fall asleep then i put him down after a few mins he will start screaming and want more and this just carries on through the day. I have got a 2 year old to look after aswell and he looks to feeling left out as i cant do anything with him.

Has anyone else had this problem!! Also would it be bad if i just leave him 3 hours untill a feed so he gets used to this.

When a baby is hungry they won't stop until they are fed. I really think you need to come up with a feeding schedule for your son. Try him on whatever amount you think will fill him up and try to go 3-4 hrs without feeding him. If he screams for a bottle beforehand then you know what you fed him wasn't enough so just add an ounce to whatever you gave him and if he lasts the whole 3-4 hrs without yelling for a bottle then you know the amount you gave him is good. It might take some time to figure out exactly what amount it takes to fill him up for a good 3-4 hrs but it is so worth it. Once you get him on an actual feeding schedule you will see that he sleeps better and you can come up with an actual routine to stick by with him throughout the day.

Is the flow fast enough out of the teats?
It could be that he's struggling and getting tired so nodding off but not being filled?

I know when i was at this stage i had to get a medium flow teat for Charley as she was falling asleep through feeds because it was taking so long, she took a few feeds to get used to a faster teat but she was finishing feeds in one go and then napping.

Also maybe its a little growth spurt, some weeks i cant fill her and feeling like im constantly washing and preparing feeds other weeks she doesnt seem to take very much at all but is really settled?.

Thanks all, i have tried him with extra milk and today he went 4 hours between feeds but still falling asleep while drinking it so im gonna try medium flow teats. I never had this problem with my first so i was a bit confused lol

Thanks again all
