Hi, I just thought I'd give my experience. Going back about 10 years my Mum and Dad had split and we started to see my dad in a contact centre.
My dad would have to arrive shortly before us and wait for us. My mum would bring us and she would sit in the waiting room while we went down to see my dad.

There was a massive room where we saw him, loads of toys/activities etc for all ages and an outdoors area kind of like a park.

From the point of veiw of a child, it was no different going to see my dad in a contact centre than it would have been in his home, in fact I think the contact centre was better because of all the things they have available (I was 9/10, my sister was 5/6)
