Hey

I've posted before about the depo injection. Probably worst mistake ever!. So many issues!!.

Soo , please tell me what contraception your using and if you would recommend it!!.

Ive only been on Microgynon 30 which I am unable to use now and the depo injection! .

I have been on the depo and come off o 29 Feb 2016 (when my last inj was due)
We are currently NTNP but I have been told it will be anywhere up to about 12-18 months before I see any period xx

I have the Mirena (IUD). I love it. the placement was awful. I'll be honest- but after about 6mos my periods stopped all together. I had maybe 2-3 in that first 6months? but I was coming off the pill- which, honestly, I LOVED- but I kept forgetting (damn mommy brain) and was worried too many times about accidental pregnancy- even with fertility issues, I didn't want to stress over it. lol. I procrastinated for months getting the IUD_ it just freaked me out. But now, I love it. Most of my friends did too-- but, like anything, it's a very personal choice. The pill I was one had hormones every day- so no periods either. I'm down with that! lol. Can't recall the name- but it was very low dose and no side affects (for me).

I loved the pill too but now been told I cant use it which is a bummer. Things us women do aye!
I think its going to have to be an IUD or the patch. Going to discuss options with my GP this week.
