OK I just cooked an amazing pasta bake! Really proud of myself and pleased.

Thing is - it looks like I have cooked for the 5000! There's so much of it.

Can I freeze it? It's a macaroni cheese pasta bake and has creme fraiche in it?

If I can't freeze it, how long will it keep in the fridge?

Thank you!!! xxx

I always make a big batch of pasta bake and freeze some. Wasn't so sure about freezing the creme fraiche but just googled and you can freeze it - the creme fraiche may separate a bit in it but a good stir and it'll be fine when reheated.

Should keep for 3 days in the fridge. Thats the rule I use anyway but I'm quite cautious with food x

If you're making something that is a large recipe you can always freeze portions of it before cooking. If there's just 2 or 3 of you that are eating then get some loaf pans to separate out what you need. Stick a few in the freezer and cook the one you want. For leftovers in the fridge I usually give them 7 days unless they start to smell or grow hair sooner.
