Cool boiled water

Hi,

When making a bottle feed do you use freshly boiled water that has been cooled - And also can you use water that has been boiled and gone cold and re-boiled? I don't think you can and i don't but i was just wondering...

We boil the kettle when we put the steriliser on, so it's cooled for about 10 minutes. I think the recommended time is 30 minutes after boiling fresh water, but we don't usually leave it that long and quick cool the bottle in cold water.

I don't think it's recommended to re-boil previously boiled water, if that makes sense, but I'm not sure why!
