Core exercises and pain?

I did a light workout and that included some core exercises and at the time I felt fine but a day later whenever the baby kicks me in the front I get some pain.
At the moment I'm not worried but maybe I should be? I don't think I over-did anything but these kicks are hard not to wince at >.<
 
I got caught out at 16 weeks with a yoga class...I approached it as I would not pregnant and strained a ligament in my hip. What you could do before being pregnant is not necessarily what you can do now. Hope it eases soon x
 
I tend to get a pulling pain at the front if I do a few to much on my core muscles, I try to do a all round workout rather then focusing on core as it really can kick my backside. Maybe try giving your Core a extra amount of time during warming up :). Hope it eases soon
 
I have stopped doing sit up now as they hurt and instead just do the plank for my core muscles. Works great and no pain. X
