could be boy bits or its a girl with fleshy bit? anyone been told this?

we had our scan yesterday asked if they could check sex baby was being a touch awkward thighs together & cord between legs too but she saw & showed us something sticking out under cord & said i think that might be a penis but it could also be a girl with a fleshy bit. she wouldnt confirm for us either way as she hadnt got clear view despite her jiggling bump a bit baby wouldnt move
i've never heard of a girl with fleshy bit before? & to me it looked boy bits i dont have any pics of this part as cos was poor view she didnt take any i do have scan pics though which can update with when am at home if anyone wants a look
has anyone else been told this? can we take it as blue? we are going to book a private scan for few weeks to check

I was told something similar at 17 weeks - in the 4D scan (which aren't very reliable for gender determination) there was a round bulge - what looked like a testicle - or they said it could be swollen labia. Always had the 3 lines though, and turns out it is definitely a girl. 4D can exaggerate things. And I imagine something similar could be visible on 2D. So as much as it sucks, I think you'll have to wait for the private scan!

my little mans scrotum was very visable from underneath tbh. Looked like a curvy w shape.

scanner could only get a view looking down on babys thighs cos it wouldnt move for her so didnt see no 3 lines or owt
