I am currently on cycle day 34 and I am 20 dpo. My cycles are normally 22-23 days long but the last was 28??? My lmp was 1/2/14 -1/6/14. I ovulated with a positive OPK on 1/15/14 and as of today still no sign of AF?? I have had a lower backache for the past week and on and off cramps but they are below my belly button when generally they are to the left or right. I have felt very bloated and my pants are much tighter than normal. Yesterday I was very dizzy and had a headache and even though my bb's have not been sore they have gotten dry and raised bumps around them??? I have charted my bbt and it rose on day 1/16/14 and has fluctuacted since but never dropped below the base line. I have taken 4 HPT's and all come up bfn. The last one I took yesterday morning with my first urine. I have never missed a cycle so I think it may be possible that I'm pregnant but I also was very nauseous with my first pregnancy but that was almost 15 yrs. ago!! How much longer should i wait to test again or make a doctor's appoitment??

You may not have actually ovulated when you got your OPK. A positive OPK doesn't confirm ovulation. Sometimes your body gears up to ovulate, but the egg never makes it's way out.

I'd take an HPT every couple days to see if it became positive, but there's not harm in making an appointment now as well.

Well, yes a temp spike should mean you ovulated, if it's the right kind of spike and stayed up. I'd like to see your chart...then maybe I could give you better advice as to whether it looks like you ovulated. Can you link it?

Doesn't my bbt spike meant i did??

It could, but I've read that temping isn't all that accurate. So many factors affect your BBT, and you can ovulate without a temp spike and you can not ovulate with a temp spike.

I have the chart on fertility friend like you do but not sure how to link it?? When I visited my OBGYN on 1/16/14 and showed him the OPK test he said it was positive and that I ovulated but did not do any tests. I was nauseous last night but just minor cramping again today and cm is thin again???

He cannot say with 100% certainty if you ovulated or not. OPKs are indicators, but not proof. Same with temping. I had a cycle over 60 days long where I got a positive OPK, then nothing for weeks, and then another positive OPK, and 2 weeks later a period. That means my first positive OPK did not actually indicate ovulation, but the second did.

If your HPTs are still negative, then it is unlikely that you are pregnant. At least not from an egg that was released on the 16th. You may have still ovulated much later than you thought, or be experiencing an anovulatory cycle.
