Could I be pregnant?

I had my last period in January... the 17th I believe. It was a few days early. A couple of weeks ago I started to cramp. I figured my period was about to start cause it was that time anyway... nothing ever came. The cramps weren't as bad as usual... they didn't really hurt but they didn't go away either. A couple days pass and I still haven't started, but the cramping didn't stop (it was off and on) so I just assumed period was coming. Never did. Fast forward to this past Wednesday. I was going pee when I started cramping worse than I had felt over the past few days and then told myself ok here's my period. I put in a tampon and go about my day. Go to change it a couple of hours later because when I'm late I ALWAYS start with a heavy flow and there's hardly anything on it. Just the tip was saturated and it was brown/red. I didn't really think anything of it, just that maybe it was taking a minute to start. Couple more hours go by, I go to change again and there's nothing. This is when it started to get weird to me because that's never happened before. Nonetheless I put in another tampon, go to change later and it looks like the first one. The next day I wake up and it's a little more on there than I saw the day before but not full nor anywhere near my normal period. Thursday and Friday were the light days, two-three tampons a day (could have used one and still has room left at the end of the day). I woke up yesterday morning with a little spotting and haven't seen anything since. I took a pregnancy test Thursday and it said negative. I'm just pretty confused because my period has never been like this, and it's late and I never even had a medium flow? I've also had nauseous feelings lately and I noticed I've been a lot more hungry lately not necessarily eating larger portions but just always wanting to eat my nipples have been very sensitive and I've been having hot flashes as well. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow. I'm just so confused any help would be appreciated or sharing experiences like mine and their outcomes too!!

I do. I realize that this just may be a light late period, but it just doesn't make sense to me. I have miscarried so I rather ask too much than not enough at this point

Take a test dear. You could show a rainbow of symptoms and it just be PMS, and you can show no symptoms but a late period and get a BFP.

No one here will be able to tell you if you are pregnant as one woman's pregnancy symptoms are another woman's PMS symptoms. Why wait to go see the doctor??? Head out to the Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart and pick up a test for a buck.

If you bled for multiple days in a row, that could have been a late, light period. It could also have been related to late O or even implantation. Take a test!
