Could I have missed my ovulation?

I only used OPKs before on the month I got pregnant and I'm not sure if they work properly for me. The day I ovulated that month, the test line was dark but not as dark as the test line which, essentially, is classed as a negative and I know I ovulated that day because of my temps and I had the usual ov cramps.

I only had my ERPC 3 weeks ago on Monday so I know it's still very early days but I don't think I'm showing any signs of ovulating any time soon. My OPKs are showing very very very faint lines, possibly even evaps - my husband would say he can't see any lines at all but I'm a line expert so I can definitely see something . But I remember making my husband do one once and he showed a relatively dark line (strangely enough and, unless there's something he isn't telling me, I'm pretty sure he doesn't ovulate).

I'm just wondering if I could have ovulated really early after my ERPC as I know I was getting quite dark lines about a week after but I think this is because I was still getting faint lines on HPTs and I know that OPKs can show positive when you are pregnant (or still have the pregnancy hormones in my case as I obviously wasn't pregnant any more at that point).

I can't believe that it's not even 3 weeks ago that I had my ERPC, it seems a life time ago so I know I'm getting impatient now. Just wondering if it is possible to ovulate a week after an ERPC?

Hi Susan, im not really an expert on opk's but i know that i o'vd 14 days after i started bleeding on my m/c cycle. then didnt for the last 2 cycles and not getting a positive opk (my first month using them) this month. I spoke to a doctor, told her i was concerned that i'm not ovulating and she fobbed me off, saying come back in 6 months..

It's so nice when your doctors are so supportive! They are awful. I know that mine would be exactly the same and just fob me off like they always do. I don't know how long it's going to take me to ovulate (and I've never had a problem ovulating before so I'm hoping this miscarriage won't cause any problems for me) but I was even wondering whether I should have just gone back on the pill as soon as my bleeding stopped so that it might help regulate my periods. Too late now and I don't think I could face going back on it anyway.

I've read that a lot of people ovulate between 4 and 6 weeks after a miscarriage. It's only that I don't feel like I'm anywhere near ovulating that is worrying me. I'm sure it'll happen but I'm getting impatient. And because I don't think I've ovulated, it's making me think that my period is even further away.

God, I think I need a holiday!

Well, i thought i ov'd as normal due to my opk;s ...but im starting to doubt it OR my lp is fecked up because of the mc..anything is possible....however af is mia (missing in action..) feck knows where she's flown off to, but then again i know this is normal. The nurse i saw at the hospital yesterday even said it was early days (im already past cd30, my regular cycle ).. so i guess im back to knicker watch..i cannot tell you how many times i keep running to the toilet thinking this is it..so i can sympathise....it appears my so called ov/opk might or might not mean bugger all....

With my last mc i had a smidgen of ewcm and didnt do any opk's...i really didnt have much signs ov was here..which upset me i can tell you, as i am ov cramp queen, lol! And when you've had something all your life ( a long life in my case ) you really do notice and get worried..but things are working on their own time schedule..Damn. lol!!

Right, I think I can stop panicking now as I don't think I missed my ovulation. I just did an OPK and I've got a definite pink line, not positive yet but I think it will be within the next few days. Woohoo

Hi i ovd exactly 3 weeks after my erpc, sadly did not catch as planned but now af is here i at least know my body is relativley back to normal.

I feel the same as you. If I get pregnant this month then great but if I don't, then I'll be glad to have my period back and to get back to normal. At least that way, I will know that I have done what most doctors recommend by waiting for your first period. Good luck for next month xxxx
