Could I possibly be..... or just wishful thinking??? Update*pregnant 1st scan July 8

Ok, Its my first time posting but I have been lurking for the last few weeks.
I finished my Nuva ring May 7th, had my withdrawl may 10th and have not put the ring back in as my hubby and I are TTC.

last 2 weeks I had twinges in my left side on and off just sudden shots or pain and then they would stop. I do remember my CM being plentiful and gloopy (sorrytmi) very early after my withdrawl bleed. We dtd on and off since coming off till this week where we stepped it up a grea as If my cycle was to come back as normal I should have been ovulating today. but I dont know if I have been.

Anyway I have been having the twinges, my boobs HURT so bad! started hurting saturday and havent stopped since. We dtd sun morning, and Sun night as I was thinking I was coming to OV, Didnt do it last night (gave him a night off lol) will do tonight anyway incase I am ovulating today.....

Strange thing is I have been having them twinges,been very aware of that abdomen area, my boobs hurt sooo much esp the nips, feeling bloated, tired and hungry as hell, thirsty and peeing more often (but they go hand in hand), I enjoy a few drinks at the weekend or a beer or two ater work but opened a beer sat and wasnt interested, same thing sunday eve. poured both down the drain. I had a very vivid dream sunday night that I did a pregnancy test and it was positve, although I try not to read to much into that.

Dont know what to think, may just be going mad lol !
But I have been seeing stories online of women getting pregnant immediatedly after coming of Nuva ring. And yes other ones about not getting pregnant for some time. If my cycle is on track should see AF June 7th! Dont know if I can wait till them to test!! sorry about the long post!!!

hello and welcome I was also using the Nuva ring. I chose it because the doc said you are fertile starting after your first AF after taking it out, and I knoew once we decided to start ttc I wouldn't want to wait. I wasn't lucky enough to fall preganant that first month, but it's definitely possible.

Oh god how does some girls do this for months and or years??? I am 2 weeks into trying and I am already thinking I am pregnant!

It easily becomes an obsession, I know the feeling. I went off the pill last month and amazingly had a nice, rounded cycle and even ovulated - though we were TTA. Now we're TTC and my cycle is wonky due to coming back from vacation. My luteal was only 11 days last cycle, so hoping some B vitamins will help that this month. But it's possible you are pregnant right off the ring. I know it's hard, but hang in there and good luck! xo

I would test, I can't help myself! Actually I'm doing pretty good this month...sorry, enough about me!

Not trying to be a downer, but I have a few things to say:
One, implantation happens usually 6-12 days after the egg is fertilized, so if you just ovulated then you wouldn't be having symptoms yet. Also, I was on Nuvaring in the past but before I stopped birth control I was just on the pill, so I don't know about how fertile you are after stopping it. I will tell you that I had a ton of symptoms and would have sworn I was pregnant after stopping my BCP, but all of the symptoms of early pregnancy can also be from your body getting used to working on it's own without the extra hormones. I would recommend starting temping and tracking your CM. https://www.fertilityfriend.comis a great place to start, they have an awesome charting course. That way you know what is going on with your body. It's helped me tremendously.

Anyway, maybe wait it out until AF is due, then test if she doesn't show. Maybe this will be your BFP! Good luck with everything, lots of !

Lol. Thats so funny. I have been at this for quite a while now and every month I do the same thing. I always have a thought that this month is it and bla bla. But honestly I have a hard time telling im pregnant. Some women know right away. I have seen tons on here that know at like 10dpo and I am always a lil jealous of those gals

Jess137, I think you are right I am pretty sure they are just side effects of coming off the nuva ring. I am trapped in fantasy land Thanks for the temping and CM link! I have been doing the temp a lil on and off, need to make it part of my morning routine!

Swanxxsong I know what you mean about an obsession! All I read about is conceiving stuff, every eve on this or looking up stuff, I have even started a little private wish list of baby things Day dreaming about telling my hubby and everyone! It wasnt that long ago that getting pregnant could of been the WORST thing that coulda happened to ya! Boy have things changed!!!

essie0828, I can imagine myself in a few months if no BFP yet! :O
But it will happen when its ment to happen. Would love to be one of the women that know right away, and have symptoms straight away. NOT looking forward to all the TWW!!

I had my first scan dated for July 29th but brought it forward to July 8th I will be about 8-10 weeks then, Not 100% sure on my dates as I dont know when I ovulated! But will hopefully find out how far on I am come July 8th!! So excited
feeling a little crampy nothing major just like dull AF pains. Guess I am stretching out/growing! Been nauseated all week, not too bad this mornig as has nuts and smoothie driving to work. Slight dull ache in top of thighs and bottom or back. Had metalic taste in mouth for first time this morning. bbs are fine - have the little white spots on areola but otherwise feeling good!
