So I posted this thread with a picture of my scan at 11+4 and everyone guessed girl - https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/g...eciate-guesses-updated-after-gender-scan.html
I had a gender scan at 16 weeks and the woman said boy, but rushed us out in 5 minutes. Since then, we have assumed he is a boy and bought boyish things. Our NHS hospital will not comment on gender. We have had about 10 scans since but they won't confirm. I've had a wee niggling doubt so got out the cd we were given at the gender scan, and I've attached the only photos we were given.
I can't see anything obviously boyish?? Can anybody?? I will also attach a picture in a post below of our most recent scan at 26+6 but I think they deliberately avoid the nub area.

Please let me know what you think. I am desperate to know.

I don't think you can visually see the nub after 14/15 weeks as it starts to form into genitals. I might not be 100% correct thou. I'd purely guess girl. They don't like to presume gender as it can't always be 100% obvious. Good luck anyways.

The hormone which changes the nub into boy or girl doesnt start to do its thing until the 12th week with the ideal time for a nub guess is on the 13 week mark, all nubs look girly before this time so literally flip a coin at this stage, I think the ingender site is the longest running and most experienced nub guessing site and they won't even make guesses for people at that gestation so as not to get anybodies hopes up or down.

If your later scan lady thought she saw a boy then I would go with that, she may have seen it flash by a few times to come to her conclusion:) Is there anyway you can book a reassurance scan nearby? Just to make sure:)

I want to get another scan but money is tight and we are meant to be saving every penny so OH thinks it is daft. Im just inpatient to know really. Can't shake the doubt that he might be a she. Can anyone tell anything from the photos?

I can't tell from the scans sweetie. Why won't NHS confirm it? That's so rude of them only takes a couple minutes. Im sorry Mama :(.

It is infuriating. Where i live they won't comment on gender at all. Apparently it's because someone once sued them for getting it wrong. :(
