could my waters be leaking slowly

since this morning when i woke up i have been having a constant trickle, i puta fresh pad on and within about 10 minutes it was really really wet i have now changed and put a new one on and it already feels wet, could this be my waters breaking slowly or does it just sound like normal discharge thanks

How far gone are you? I'd get that checked just to be on the safe side. They like to have babys out after 48hours of the water going so you need to know really. I'd call the midwives or hospital triage number and ask advice. Sounds gross but take your pad with you so they can check it Xx

I second what Hayley said ... at antenatal this week they told us to put a pad on immediately if we felt anything down there, and to take it to the hospital with us for inspection.

hey hun phone ur midwife and say 2 her i had this and it turned out 2 be me losing the amniotic fluid round the baby i thought it was normal as my baby is engaged though it was down to the extra presure. i had it for about 2 1/2 weeks they sent me 4 a scan and i was low on the fluid i have to go up 2morrow for another scan if iv lost more or im still low im getting booked in later in the week 2 be started so yeah id get it checked out 2 be safe xx

hi i just wanted to let you know that happened with my first daughter i got up in the morning and did not stop leaking water went to the hospital and they said my waters had broken or leaking solely sent me home saying if i don't go in to labour with in 48 hours i was to go back in to be induced i didnt go in to labour so ended up being induced make sure you go Hun just to be safe its dangerous to leave baby any longer then 48 hours without water because of infection that's what the MW told me anyway.good luck Hun all the best xxx

i will be 40 weeks tomorrow, hope its the start of something as im due to have a home birth and really want to be able to have it, i will give midwife a ring later when i get in but i feel horrible ringing them out if its nothing, fingers x'd it will turn into something

I'm new too all of this, but I went to the hospital about 2 weeks ago as I was getting pains.. I mentioned I was getting a bit of leakage now and again down below.. And she said if your waters are leaking then when you put a sanitary towel on, it shoukd be drench.. So from what you've explained, your waters could be leaking and it's best to go and get checked.. Xx

dont feel bad i felt like a prat going up 2 day care then when they sent me 4 a scan i though omg there gonna be shes ott but it turend out i had done the right thing and there now keeping a close eye on me u r always better safe than sorry the midwife will tell u that 2 they would much rather u phoned them n put ur mind at rest rather than sit and worry
