Could Ovidrel cause my BFP?

I'm 10dpo (12 days post Ovidrel). I did HPT's to monitor the Ovidrel & it was negative at 7 days after taking the shot. I started testing a few days ago, which were all negative. I now got a positive today- 12 days after Ovidrel! I am questioning if it could be causing my bfp for one major reason....

My mom tried to give me the shot. I say "tried" because it didn't totally work. She put it in my skin, but the needle came out about half way. A lot of it ended up backing up and ended up on top of my stomach. (Hope that makes sense)....Anyways, since she didn't get it down deep enough, I'm afraid it took longer to get through my system....even though I got a negative 7, 10, and 11 days after the shot. Thoughts?!? I don't want to get my hopes up if it's just from the Ovidrel.

Sorry I've no knowledge of Ovidrel. Fingers crossed this is a BFP for you though

You could get a positive on ovidrely within 14 days of taking it, but if you have been taking hpts and they were negative, then this positive could be the real deal. Good luck!

Got it confirmed w/ a blood test & beta tripled. Not from Ovidrel, it was a bfp.
