We were on the list for over a year. The only reason we got a house is because we agreed to move five miles away to the middle of no where in a village. This was November. We still haven't moved in, there was rising damp in the whole ground floor, so new kitchen etc was needed. Mould in what would be lucys room and very bendy plaster board (meaning its also got damp), leaking toilet, broken boiler (this was fixed twice) and toilet door. Leaking front door to the point the living room had a puddle. The canopy around the door was also leaking water. All this was fixed. We began decorating and the canopy os still leaking and the living room is still damp, the garden has the soil full of plastic and rubbish mixed in, and no gate separating the front and back garden so Lucy wouldn't be able to play outside because she could run in the road. The bins were filled with rubbish all sorted wrong. There was 30+£ debt on the gas which took five phone calls to clear. We've stripped The wallpaper and that's it. Until the canopy and damp is fixed we cant do anything so were stuck living with my mum. They weren't even going to replace the rotting damp kitchen cupboards because the manager said 'it wasn't his kitchen so it wasn't his problem' so rude. Were sick of being messed about.
