Hi, I'm so upset about this.

My DH provided a sample for SA on 21st August - the request was made by my GP who we witnessed writing on the referral for the results to be sent to my DH's GP, he told us to make contact with DH's GP 2 weeks after providing the sample. Well today DH made contact with his GP - they have no recold of the results at his surgery, he made contact with the hospital who confirmed that the results have been sent out, but they could not give the results to DH and he would have to go via his GP - DH requested these were sent again as his GP does not have them - he was told by the hospital that his GP would need to telephone them to request the results!!

So I thought that maybe my GP had been sent them by mistake - spoke with the receptionist who told me that as my husband is not registered at my surgery they would not receive any test result for him - I had explained the situation and she would not even check on my recolds. So I called back after work and luckily got through to someone else who said the following 'yes I can see some results have come back from the hospital on 21st August' (same day as DH produced his sample) she continued to say 'I am not medical expert but I think you should make an appointment with your Dr to discuss the results’ I couldn't get an appointment until Friday and I'm really worried the something is wrong, DH thinks I'm reading too much into what she said.

I had my CD 2 bloods taken today but can’t do CD19 until next cycle as I’m on holiday - I'm feeling really down today :hissy:

Hey chick

Try not to worry hun - any good GP/Health Professional would recommend you talk to your doc for the results regardless. That way if you have any questions at all they can be answered. I think it's pretty standard, you wouldn't want the receptionist having a nose around in your records so fingers crossed!!

Re your bloods, you can always go a day earlier/later - my hospital was quite happy for me to do that since it fell on weekends and we were then away?xx

Feeling a bit better about this today - although I'm annoyed as my GP told us we would have to wait 2 weeks before getting the results back when actually the recptionist told me the results came back to my GP's surgery on the same day!

I've had my CD2 bloods done but going away next week and I'll be on holiday for CD19 this cycle so I've got to wait another whole cycle before I can have CD19 bloods done - I'm hoping the holiday will help gain our :bfp: - although this will be our 4th holiday whilst TTC so I doubt it will :hissy: sorry I must stop this and try to be more positive!!
