I am looking into applying for some of the work experience programmes the big publishers such as Bloomsbury offer. Because of uni and the kids the only time I can apply for is the summer which I realise will be a popular time for them, so I need to make my application stand out.
I have to send a CV and a cover letter. Now my uncle is helping me get my CV just right as that's pretty much his job and when both my brother and sister have been struggling finding work and he's helped them they've gotten loads of interviews with that fresh CV. I am looking for any advice on what I should include in my cover letter and how to make myself stand out from the rest. I have looked up some things online to help but I thought it would be best to get some advice perhaps from those who have to deal with this kind of thibg.
Would be grateful for any help x
