Hi Ladies
We started LO with C&G comfort a week ago due to colicky symptoms and thankfully he seems much happier and content, he is less windy and doesnt cry half as much. But my god his nappies are vile! The milk seems to go straight through him, can literally hear him filling his nappy as he is drinking his milk. He is having between 8 and 10 dirty nappies a day, much looser than on the normal milk, and they are varying between green and yellow. (Sorry TMI!) Aside from a little bit of nappy rash, he doesnt seem bothered really by the nappy situation and I do change him as soon as hes finished, the smell is disgusting and unmissable ha!
Just looking for others' experiences of using this milk and if this sounds normal or not. Im a new mum and every little thing is a worry

I think what your describing sounds normal and this is what I'm hoping for my little one, she so struggles with her pooh :(
I can keep u updated if you want...
All the best xx

But MY GOD the smell is VILE!!!!! At least we know when they need a nappy change though as we cant miss that smell!!! Hope its helping your LO, mine is much more settled on it!

After 2 or 3 days he started to seem a lot more settled

we dont use any medicine now just the milk and he seems great apart from the nappy situation ha

Whispernikki, It can take up to two weeks for the comfort milk to start working. My son is on Aptamil comfort as he was only pooing every ten days or so and they were always hard round pebbles and sometimes with a little blood where he had torn his little bum :nope: It was a very unsettling time. But after 10 days or so of being on this milk he started going every day. He only goes once a day though, very occasionally twice and his poos vary from being like putty to being runny and they are sometimes green, sometimes yellow and sometimes a mixture of both but he is definately much happier and less windy as well. Stick with it. Putting my son on comfort milk was the best thing I ever did. He has been on it for about 2 months now and I will never look back.

Louby, maybe your LO is having so many loose nappies because he only needs it for the colic and not the constipation, where as obviously the milk is for both. Could you maybe try some colic drops instead?

Hi Jin
His nappies have settled down now and are much better
The comfort milk works wonders!

WhisperNikki, how is LO getting on?

She's not getting on very well .. She has now stopped poohing and more uncomfortable with stinky farts.
I'm going to talk to the h/v tomorrow and maybe switch back to first milk.
I feel it's making her feel worse :(

Personally I'd give it a bit of time. I put my son on this milk, due to awful colic and constipation.. And it was amazing. He stopped with the colic and started going to the toilet much better.. But I know with changing his milk each time he got an iffy tummy! Give him a few days, if its the same.. Maybe talk to your HV x
