Cow & gate pepti n feeding advice

My lo is 4 weeks we have had a constant battle with what we first thought was colic! We tried infacol, colief, dentenox none worked! Doc suggested acid reflux and gave us gaviscon! Still no joy! Lo is constantly unseted cries a hell ov a lot, does not settle t sleep without squirming grunting and crying? Gp perscribed cow n gate pepti junior today as lo also has flakey skin, runny bowl movements, lots of wind and what seems t b stomach cramps! Has anyone got any stories and can tell me when I may see improvements? Only been using it a day he is still pulling legs up but not as unsettled! Also the lo still wants to feed every 2-21/2 hours day and night which is very draining for us all! Is there anything I can use to help fill him
