I am 18+4 with twins and I know cramps can be a sign of everything stretching, which there will be a lot of with twins, however I have been lucky until now just to have the odd aches and pains. When having my son 2 years ago in the early days I had severe cramping until 14 weeks, so bad I went to a&e several times and even the early pregnancy unit thought it was looking like I was going to miscarry. I never had that cramping with this pregnancy.

Over the last few days I have had cramping, and the feeling like I constantly need to poo (sorry for the tmi!). When I went to the loo a lot of the time I couldn't do anything (I am not constipated as I have used it several times). I was going to phone triage this morning however last night I passed a lot of wind and then it eased off loads so I thought maybe that's what caused the cramps, but it came back a minute ago there and I also have that feeling of needing to poo but (again, sorry for the tmi!) nothing there to so when I go.

I don't have any odd discharge or bleeding. Has anyone else had experience of this?
