I know that some cramps are normal in Early pregnancy, aslong as they not severe and accompanied by any bleeding. Iv been having some cramps, like af, lasting for 10mins or so, mostly in the evening.

Im trying to find comfort in these cramps, knowing my body is just making room for little flump but suffering a blighted ovum earlier this year, im struggling keeping those worries at bay.

So im wondering if y'all would like to share what you felt during the early stages of your pregnancy?

xx

i had really bad cramps in early pregnancy, mine felt like really bad period cramps it felt like my period was going to come on really bad but never did lol..xx

Thats what mine have been feeling like, hoping this is my sticky baby! x

I had cramping around the time I found out I was pregnant. Now I get "twinges"

Yeah cramping is normal .. they're like period cramps but not quite as sever but more persistent.

Don't worry unless you're crippled over in pain and bleeding.

I was wondering the same thing. I am just over six weeks and have had cramps like my peroid was coming or going to be here so I can't help my aelf bit go and check to make sure there is no spotting. Sounds like it is common, which eases some of my stress :)

Yea it put me a little more to rest too. its all scary business with our fragile little flumps at first, wish i could just not be worried, fullstop. But dont think ill stop worrying about them!!

urgh me too with the cramping... and mine have been worse in the evenings too - although today i'm getting them all day accompanied with lovely diahrrea....... its making me really anxious

Iv had a few cramping sessions today also.... but then, rest assured we know our bodys are doing the right thing.... lets hope we can find comfort in this. No diarrhoea for me.... clogged up... would enjoy having the runs! (never EVER thought i would be saying that!) ps... sorry if TMI!

teehee that made me giggle! x

I had loads of horrible AF type cramps..they lasted right up until around 9 weeks!!!! I found lying down for a bit seemed to ease them :winkwink:

i had really bad cramps, and i always so worried - and it's actually very NORMAL =] everything in there is just getting ready to be stretched to accomodate a 8 pound baby. i still have cramps occasionally NOW! but now im sure its just round ligament stretching.

I've got the same feeling, and even though I had the exact same thing with my son and it passed, it still doesn't make me feel any better! x

I'm only a few days ahead of you, but I also had really bad cramps-- all last week, then Sunday and Monday when I found out. I'm only 4 weeks and 4 days. They seem to have eased since yesterday. But when I was having them they were always worse at night and when I first woke up.

Now I'm worried because I'm NOT having cramps. I guess we worry no matter what!

Ooo mine are so much worse at night! So glad that's not just me! :)

I had really bad cramps early on, so much so that DF was adamant we were going to hospital (but i talked him out of that). It turned out to be constipation cramps. doc gave me some lactulose to help with the constipation but that made the cramps worse so i started eating dried apricots instead - and boy did they work!! lol

Give your doc a call if youre really worried :hugs: x

I've been having cramps too. I am so worried that any little thing could go wrong, especially since my first doctor's appointment isn't till I'm 11+4! Such a long ways away, I really just want to get a scan earlier so I don't have to worry. Blahh.

I find i cramp in the evening as well, put it down to my body telling me it was done for the day and to relax. Problem is as soon as I relax I am asleep- now I know how I was so far behind with my fav tv shows when I was expecting my son!:laugh2:

I had an awful lot of cramping, which has calmed down a little now this week touch wood. It was quite painful at times and very very worrying, though I was told it shouldn't necessarily mean a bad thing as long as isn't accompanied with bleeding or anything like that, which I wasn't having. Now the morning sickness has started kicking in I'm finding these pains a lot easier. So its been one or the other for me!
