crampy feeling at bottom of bump

Hi ladies - I'm just over 36 weeks and today have been having crampy pains at the bottom of my bump. Do you this means anything?

I had this yesterday and a couple of other times this week too, it only lasted a few hours each time. My bump seems a lot lower today and I wondered if the cramp was from him dropping lower maybe.

I'm 35 weeks and started experiencing the cramps feeling last week. It was so painful it scared me a bit but the ob gyn I called said it could be a bladder infection even though I have no other symptoms of one. I went in and took a pee test and got negative results. So I dunno what it was but it lasted for 3 hours straight and was painful when standing up. My doctor said she may have been low in my pelvis. /shrug. This is my first so I don't really know what to expect with pains and whatnot.
