Croods Ads!

I know this has been an ongoing problem, but I just had to bring it up again to make sure this issue gets some attention. The Croods "roll over" ad is NOT a roll over ad... it is a pop up. My mouse goes nowhere near the ad and yet every time I go to a new page I have to click out of the ad four times in a row. It's animated and takes up the entire screen. If I go to a new thread it happens all over again. It's infuriating and if it isn't something that can be fixed then I will not be coming to this site anymore until I see that it's gone.

I agree, it's awful I can hardly stand going to this forum when that is the ad. I'll look at like two threads and be so fed up I just have to close it.

I was about to post the same thing when I saw this thread. I've been avoiding the forum for several days hoping it would go away, but it's still here. Every time I click a thread the ad pops up and engulfs my entire screen. It's horrid.

I've already posted a thread about the Croods Ad, to which an admin responded but the ad is still around so I'm not sure what's going on. I was about to make another post but saw that someone's already done so, so though I'd chime in and express my solidarity...

This ad is out of control. The worst part about it is that the ad starts out transparent and it takes up the whole upper screen unbeknownst to the user. So the user, thinking they've avoided the ad, clicks on a thread title or something, not knowing they've actually clicked on the ad's clearspace, and get taken away to another full-page ad.

I am not seeing this movie now. I make a point of NOT patronizing businesses who use overly-aggressive and invasive means to advertise. Making a really annoying ad that I must deal with literally EVERY time I click does not make me MORE likely to see your movie! In fact, it does the opposite. I probably would have gone to see The Croods. Won't be doing so now!

I am getting so upset at this ad as well! Have to deal with it everytime I visit a new page! Infuriating!
