Crooked baby teeth a concern?

My DS is nearly 1 and his two front teeth are slightly crooked, they sort of come to a subtle "V" shape. He doesn't have bottles or pacifiers and I'm 99% positive he doesn't suck his thumb (don't have a video monitor in his room but he never sucks his thumb when I am with him). He does fall asleep on his own and sometimes on the monitor I can hear what sounds like a sucking sound so it's possible that he occasionally sucks his thumb/fingers, but I don't think it's on a regular basis. Is this something to be concerned about? Will it affect the appearance of his adult teeth? My sisters both had crooked teeth and suffered into adulthood with confidence issues as a result and I get worried about this happening with my DS!
