CSA help please?

Hi, im not sure if i'm posting this in the right place or not but hoping I get some answers anyway. I have just applied for CSA for my oldest son. His father has never seen him and has no interest in him, he sees him as a burden to his new family and always will. Anyway my question is when will he receive the letter from them (as I am expecting a torrent of abuse). It has only been a week since I applied but I gave them everything they needed to know over the phone and they traced and found him during the call. Also if he pays maintenance does this mean that my current partner cannot adopt him?

No idea :/ I never heard anything from fob when I called csa. And honestly I think their 'service' is shocking. I've not heard anything back from them since I called and was told I'd hear back within 3 weeks. It's been 2 months so I'm gonna have to follow it up -.- ridiculous.

Hope it's soon though x

thanks girls, well I called them today and they are writing to him first thing tomorrow as they tried to call him but he didn't pick up x
