FOB rang me the other day for his once every 3 or 4 month phone call. He said he's got a job now, door canvassing, he has the DNA test to pay for (blamed me for going to the the CSA?! He shouldn't of denied it!), and some bills. Then said that he will be putting money into a bank account for Kacie. Surely the money for Kacie should go through the CSA then to me? Don't get me wrong, it's not all about the money, he's sending a card for her birthday :haha: But if he 'says' he's putting money into an account for her he could just blag it :nope:

Also, becuase his job doesn't have a set income, could have £600 coming in one week, then £100 the next, does anyone know how the CSA would work that out? Does he have to declare to CSA he's earning now?

Yes he has to declare he is working, and CSA will take an average of his earnings (for example about 3 months pay) so you'll get a fair amount. If he doesnt declare to CSA then you can, and they will find him on HM Revenues to contact his employer and can take payment straight from his wages if he doesn't send money to you from his account.
and he can say he is paying money into an Account for her all he likes, doesnt effect the amount he should be paying you. He needs to pay money directly to you, if you wants to put money into an account for her as well, then he can. xx

by the sounds of it he is doing a self-employed job and will probably not be declaring his earnings to the tax office so it might take a while to find him and get it sorted out etc... but it will be worth it in the end.

In the U.S., they will take what he made last year as an average, if he is in sales or has a changing salary. And I agree, he can put $ into a secret account all he wants, tell him that is good - he can use it when they order him to give you $ :)

i just been thru csa with my daughters dad.. he gotta pay 15% of his weekly wage 4 one child... call them and exlain they will help you out... and you just gotta give all the information you know... i called 19th of august n i should get my 1st payment oct some time... my ex was a nightmare so its taken longer cos they had 2 get it straight from his employer before he gets his wages xx

If it is a self employed job then report him to benefit fraud for not paying his taxes and report him to CSA x

I'm not quite sure how it works, he sells gas and electricity contracts. So I THINK if he gets someone to switch to one or the other he will get such and such amount, so surely it's self employed. I don't know, I'm crap with this stuff. He only started last week apparently so they won't have any previous wage to work with. I think I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they say
