CSA Success

Well today is a good day

Finally got a letter from CSA saying money is now going to be taken out of FOB's account. They traced his new employer and the tosser won't know what has hit him now. He has ignored CSA's wishes to assess his earnings and organise a fair payment every month. So CSA is just going to automatically take it out of his wages and they say it starts asap.

The icing on the cake would be; him panicking seeing his next wage slip, ringing me frantically for help or to 'talk' (as he has in the past when anything affects HIM or he's up shit creek) and I just do what he has done to me....press 'end call' and ignore his pleas for help.

In an ideal world that would make me feel better. But getting child support off him gives me great closure and some sort of recompense for the hell he put me through.

Going out with the girls tomorrow to celebrate!!

ha ha! just got five missed calls from him! and a message saying 'we need to talk!' I have completely ignored him. Gave him about 6,000 chances to have an amicable arrangement and I suffered a year without any help or financial help from him, even begged for some help.Now the reality has hit him, he's grovelling. Many times I asked him to 'talk' and he either ignored me or fobbed me off.

So glad I am strong enough and wise enough now to ignore him. Actually feel quite smug now. What goes around comes around.

Your post is making me want to go ahead with a CSA (now the Child Maintenance) case.

Persevere Sue. I called them about every two weeks for updates. I searched the internet for info on him and found out that he had a job on the sly and just called them and gave them all the info. They appreciate any information, no matter how small that you can give them. They can trace people through national insurance numbers in the UK, so HMRC have all info on anyone who has ever worked and where. As long as an FOB has a job, even self employed, there is usually hope that they can get him.

Everything he spilled me was a complete lie (for 6 years ) and all I know confidently is Name, DOB & a bank account detail and who he used to work for. :-/ I'm worried I will call up and get laughed at

No, I ignored his calls, he hasn't rung back since. He has got the message I hope.

He only saw LO a few times when he was about 5 months. No cuddles, has never asked about him. Totally avoided the subject of his son in e-mails and communication. Doesn't give a shit basically but is now letting a teenage girl and a 10 year old boy (that are not his kids) call him 'Dad'. Just when I think he can't possibly get any worse.....he is just a disgusting human being IMHO.

My LO is the sweetest, kindest, gentlest little boy, full of fun and giggles. I love him very, very much! His father has lost out, not me.

Karma is a b!tch!! I hope to be in your shoes one day and feel vindicated. Nothing hurts more than the wallet being hit where men are concerned. I'm disgusted that he allows those children call him dad when he has a child that has his DNA and blood pumping through his veins.
