Hi you all - quick question,

I was on Clomid for three cycles and this one I'm off. Before Clomid I O'd around mid month btwn 14-16 cd, during Clomid that was pushed back a bit btwn 16-21 cd, this cycle it seems I O'd on cd 10 (!) It totally took me by surprise!
Last cycle I was on an extended week of progesterone also.

We had company and couldn't BD until cd 10 and 11, but I wasn't worried cause normally I O days after that. We usually start BD at cd 8,9 and that's just the gearing up BDing, you know?

So does anyone know, can Clomid and/or progesterone play with your O date in this way in the cycle you come off of them?

Here is my current chart: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/23ed9e

Thanks!
xoooox RR

Hi Reallyready!
I don't know much about this, but I was just thinking (you've probably already considered this) that because that extra week at the end last month was a result of progesterone and not your own hormones that maybe your body is actually ahead of your cycle day count if you know what I mean...so day 10 is actually day 14 or 15? Don't know if that makes any sense hormonally, but it's possible.

Hey Brooklyn. Your chart looks awesome! What's going on?
How are you? I've looked for you on here and thought you must be taking a little break. Though I don't have the open hours to browse BnB at work as I did this summer.

Hi RR,
I've been a bit more busy at work too...plus I'm in the ttw now so there's not much to report except the most random and subtle of symptoms. I guess I'm also getting frustrated with speculating and then being disappointed...my temps are good but they were last month too and we know how that ended!
How are you? When are your appointments, they must be coming up soon. Definitely keep me updated.
xoxo

totally hear you about chart/temps. it's like i'm just not willing to keep playing the same game with myself month after month. still keeping hopes lifted in a realistic way of course, bah! have a great weekend if I don't see you on here.

Hi RR.

I've looked at your chart for this month and maybe as you haven't taken any temps at the beginning of the month, maybe cd8, cd9 and cd10 were just a natural dip in you temperature and then it went back up to what it may have been before (I'm not sure if i'm explaining myself very well). Maybe if you look at my chart you will see as mine has done it this month. It started off at one level, then dropped for a few days, then went back up again.

Did you have any other ov signs?

really good point millie! i think you may be on to something...

Hmmm

I did take a break from temping during AF and then frankly forgot (yikes!) the first day after. Then I took temp at 8 am and then 7:30 am before resuming my usual 7 am alarm and charting schedule. It's still too soon to tell if I really O'd already.

However, my temps for the last year have been in the 97 range early on and then up to the 98 to 98.6 range after O, so I may have jumped to conclusions just on that.

You all, I just finished reading the most beautiful book titled Inconceivable.
Totally worth checking out. It's about a woman dealing with secondary infertility but is a beautiful against all odds success story. Totally uplifting! Here is her site: https://www.fertileheart.com/index.php

Thanks RR, I will check out the book. Question, do you always take your temp at 7am, even on the weekends? I've noticed that I tend to take my temp within + or - 30 minutes of my work wake up time on the weekends...don't think it makes too much of a difference, but wondering what you've found. Setting an alarm on the weekend is painful for me!

Ha ha I just had DH ask me about that because yes, I usually always temp at 7 am. He was requesting that I don't hit snooze on the alarm when I temp so he only need hear it once. Totally understandable. Sometimes I can wake up that early even on the weekends and then have an hour or two by myself before DH wakes up. Since he works at home I don't have alone time very often, not that I don't love to hang with him, but I'm sure you get it, small NY apt, yada yada. Anyway, when I have woken up later I see my temp is higher. How you doing today?

Yes, I know exactly what you mean...I've been finding the same. Since I've been getting up earlier on the weekends to temp, I have a quiet hour or so to myself which is nice. Especially after the work week.
I'm doing pretty good today so far. I checked out the website for the book you recommended, and it's funny because it actually inspired a very good conversation with DH about his diet....he has pretty bad sinuses and gets stuffed up in the colder months- after reading about the author's decision to give up dairy because of her sinus issues, I suggested it to him (not the first time we've talked about it, but it was somehow different this time, maybe also because I'm trying to modify my diet because of the fertility stuff), and he was excited about trying it! I think it will actually help him a lot, so I'm excited for him.
I think I'll request the book from my library. I've become really addicted to the brooklyn public library recently- you can order any book and they deliver it to your branch.
xoxo
