Cycle/Bleeding after MC

Hello,

I had MC 2 - 2.5 weeks ago bleeding stopped around day 11 I'm now on day 19 & have some bleeding, is it too early for AF? I had some AF signs couple of days before & sore boobs. Don't know what's going on I usually have long cycles so feeling confused now.

Any help or advice gratefully received

Anything is possible after a MC. My first few cycles were a bit wacky after mine, I would say after the 3rd cycle things improved. My cycles are now a bit longer and I have an improved luteal phase (weird) so you can also have a new normal for you eventually. Hope you get some answers soon and sorry if his isn't much help x

Thanks for your reply, it's just nice to have some input from people who have experienced MC! Such a confusing time.

My first one was 36 days, second was 30 days and this af is predicted to be at 34 days but I'm pretty sure I ovulated late so it might be in the 40 days range...

My cycles were about 30-35days prior to that

Mine before MC were between 36-40 with 10-12 lp so not sure why I have bleeding day 19, scan confirmed total miscarriage & no left over tissue so can't be that.

it sounds like its still bleeding from the MC. that happened to me too. i thought i was done bleeding and then it started again randomly for a few more days. i didnt get a true period until 34 days after miscarriage. ive heard people say you need to have no bleeding for like 20 days before you can consider it a period post mc, but not sure how true it is. af has definitely been different now. still irregular like before but heavier and longer. except the first one was light and short.

Thanks for your reply, that's also what I have read about the 20 days before you can count as AF! Was your second lot of bleeding light & over a week after first lot had finished?

It's only a tiny amount at the moment & not even a flow so guess will just have to see what the next few days bring I'm getting negative Hpts now so my levels must be back down.

Yes it was over a week after all bleeding had stopped. And then one day I had all this brown junk come out at once and it freaked me out but I called the dr and they said it's fine just leftover stuff clearing out after d&c. After that I had very very light spotting here and there for the next week and then it stopped. It was mainly just when wiping.

Completely normally. I keep stopping and starting with bleeding after a mc. I've had 3 and the first few cycles are always whacky. However, they seem to go straight back to normal after having a kid :S
